Choosing between an installed platform and Safari on macOS
An installed platform earns its place on a Mac that stays awake and is used for long sessions: layouts, templates and custom indicators live on the disk and reopen exactly as they were left. A laptop that spends most of the day closed in a bag has to reconnect on every wake, which makes the browser route the simpler one.
macOS keeps installed applications in the Applications folder and raises its own permission prompts the first time a downloaded program runs; letting those prompts complete before signing in avoids a start that only half works. Where a work Mac is managed and new software cannot be added, the browser platform sidesteps the question entirely.
Bangladesh is at UTC+6, so the active hours arrive late in the local day. A Mac left plugged in through the evening handles that comfortably, while one running on battery is better used with fewer chart windows open.
